Skiing feels very different from how it looks. Almost everyone thinks their weight is forward and their hands are up; footage disagrees, consistently and immediately.
Once you can see it, one correction usually unlocks a lot. Then it's drills on easy terrain until it's automatic, rather than hoping it appears on a steep run.
Off-snow matters too, because most people ski too few days to be fit from skiing. Conditioning in the fall is what makes a January trip productive instead of survival.
